Main uses: This herb is a demulcent and gets mucilaginous when wet (which means it gets really slimy). This helps to soothe any tissues it comes in contact with. Supports the gut.
Cautions and Considerations: High dosages can delay the effect of medication. It's a good idea to take hours before and after taking medication. If you have diabetes, please check with your doctor before using it.
Sidenote: I personally don’t think Marshmallow Root tastes good or bad, thankfully it’s pretty mild. However, it smells kind of funky. The first time I got Marshmallow Root, I thought it was bad..nope, that is just how it smells.
