Hi, I’m Stacie.

I’m a holistic health practitioner, herbalist, writer, podcaster, and lifelong learner with a special focus on nervous system healing. I help people better understand their nervous systems and explore holistic ways to create greater safety, regulation, resilience, and freedom in their lives. My work is for people who may know they are safe, yet still don’t completely feel safe. People whose minds want to move forward, but whose bodies remain guarded, overwhelmed, anxious, shut down, or stuck in old patterns. I know that experience personally, and I also know that change is possible.

Holistic health changed my life

My relationship with holistic health began long before it became my business. Learning about the body, herbs, nourishment, and natural wellness gave me tools that profoundly changed my health and the way I live. It taught me to become curious about my symptoms, recognize patterns, ask better questions, and take an active role in my own well-being. That experience eventually led me to earn a diploma in holistic nutrition and become a holistic health practitioner. I also developed great knowledge about herbalism. I went on to teach extensively about herbs, create an in-depth herbal library, develop remedies and educational resources, and help others feel more confident using holistic practices in their own lives.

Herbalism remains an important part of who I am and what I teach. Plants are remarkable allies, and I love helping people understand them beyond a short list of symptoms and uses. But over time, I became especially interested in getting back to my roots and teaching more about the nervous system. I want to teach why a person could logically know they were safe while their body continued to react as though danger were nearby. Why anxiety, hypervigilance, shutdown, chronic tension, or avoidance could remain even after life had become calmer. And why healing could move beautifully in one area while feeling completely stuck in another. Those questions became the heart of my work.

My approach to nervous system healing

I don’t believe nervous system healing comes from one magical herb, supplement, practice, or mindset shift. We are wonderfully complicated people. Our nervous systems are influenced by our experiences, thoughts, relationships, hormones, environments, nourishment, movement, sleep, immune health, gut health, sense of purpose, and daily habits. Everyone will have slightly different root causes, which means everyone will heal a little differently. That is why I take a holistic approach. I explore how herbs, food, movement, time in nature, body awareness, mindset, healthy challenges, rest, creativity, connection, and everyday lifestyle practices can work together to support the nervous system.

Sometimes healing means offering the body more rest and nourishment. Sometimes it means gently leaving our comfort zones so the brain can learn that we are capable of handling more than it believes. Sometimes it means creating boundaries, changing our environment, becoming curious about our patterns, or building a life that feels safer and more aligned with who we are. Most often, it is not one enormous breakthrough. It is many small experiences that gradually teach the brain and body something new.

My background

I’m not here as someone who has figured out every answer. I’m here as a practitioner with training and experience, but also as a woman who has lived through severe anxiety, social anxiety, and agoraphobia. I know what it is like for the mind to understand one thing while the nervous system seems to believe another. I also know what it feels like to slowly reclaim pieces of yourself, and eventually feel healthier and stronger than you ever have. My life today is calmer, safer, and more freeing than it once was. That didn’t happen because I found one perfect solution. It happened through holistic support, nervous system education, honest self-reflection, meaningful challenges, and countless small moments in which I showed my body and brain that life could be different. I’m still learning, experimenting, and evolving; I always will be.

I never want to speak down to people as an all-knowing expert. I want to walk beside them, share what I have learned, ask meaningful questions, and offer ideas they can thoughtfully explore on their own.

What I believe

  • I believe you deserve to understand your body instead of feeling intimidated by it.

  • I believe nervous system healing should help you participate more fully in life, not make your world increasingly small.

  • I believe safety matters, but so do freedom, curiosity, beauty, play, connection, purpose, and meaningful challenge.

  • I believe herbs and holistic practices can be powerful allies without needing to be presented as magical cures.

  • I believe the mind, body, and spirit influence one another, and that supporting one part of ourselves can create ripples throughout the whole person.

  • I believe in bio individuality.

  • I believe that today’s society is not nervous-system-friendly, but we can still heal.

  • I believe that symptoms are messages from our body, not the enemy.

Beyond the work

I live in Northern California with my husband; we have been happily married for 25 years. We have two dogs, including Arlo, my enthusiastic “lab assistant,” who firmly believes every activity requires his supervision. And we have Oscar, my former hiking buddy, who has gone on many hiking adventures with me. He is now retired and enjoying a lazy life. We have two handsome adult sons, a beautiful daughter-in-law, and two adorable grandchildren.

I’m happiest wandering through forests, walking beside lakes, exploring mountain roads, paddleboarding, photographing beautiful little things, having deep conversations, nerding out with like-minded people, reading, and following whichever subject has captured my curiosity.

You won’t find perfection, fear-based rules, or promises that one answer will work for everyone here. You will find grounded holistic education, honest conversations, practical ideas, personal experiments, thoughtful questions, and encouragement to become an active participant in your own healing.

I’m glad you’re here.

Let’s stay curious together.
